Pros and Cons of Cheap Cosmetic Surgery
Cosmetic Surgery- it is a word of glamour to
people. We hear it so much from the media, especially when famous
celebrities talk about such surgeries, that it is assumed to be done
just to look beautiful. But, they don’t know the reality behind this
surgery. They are not aware about the pain behind it. The term “Cosmetic
surgery” is basically used for the surgical process done on a specific
part of the body to correct it.
There are many people who are just
carried away by the word ‘cosmetic’. They feel cosmetic is just
‘make-up’ and they do not realize the risks behind this term. It is
always difficult to guarantee the patient, whether they would be
perfectly operated and there would be no post surgical complications.
The problem may arise at any stage, pre-surgery, post-surgery or in the
process. It is always advisable to think again and again before taking a
decision of undergoing this surgery. Proper details and information
should be collected about the surgery. It is also important to find out
all the possible professional information and about the reputation of
the concerned surgeon before confirming.

There should be a proper one to one
meeting in regards to the pros and cons of the surgery, because one
should be always aware of all the problems that may be faced at any
point of time. And, if the surgeon is well aware of the medical history,
it would be easier for him also to guide and suggest whether the surgery
is needed or not and if, then, what is the most suited one.
There are certain symptoms after the
surgery. Swelling and bruising may occur. There are also cases, where
patients have nausea and feel like vomiting because of the injection and
antibiotics to prevent from infection.
This surgery also involves risks like
inflammation, staining, loss of blood, infection, Haematoma (blood
clotting).
There are different types of cosmetic
surgeries like – Breast implants, Liposuction, Brow lifts, Nose job,
Tummy tick, Breast lifts etc.
There are certain points to be kept in
mind for Pre and Post surgery.

The first step before the surgery starts
is the surgeon would take pictures of the specific part that is to be
operated so, it is easier for them to move further and to compare the
same after the surgery. The next step is proper medical tests. The Blood
pressure should be normal. The patient should undergo a respiratory
check up, and if in case a smoker, an X-ray is also to be done. There is
an ECG test done for the patient above 40years. And the last one is
medication. Proper medication is given to the patient in order to
prevent any kind of infections. The patient is also advised not to have
any kind of intake of drugs, alcohol or any such medicines containing
aspirin substance.
There are certain important points to be
kept in mind after the Post surgery. The patient is not supposed to pick
up heavy items in the beginning. They might feel giddy after the
surgery, but that is just because of the injections and medicines which
melt down slowly. The most important time to be taken care is just the
immediate 24hrs post surgery and so, there should be someone present at
that time and follow the doctor’s instructions properly for no further
complications. The patient is not allowed to bathe or shower for 3 days
as the stitches should remain dry and should avoid itching at the
specific place.
After the surgery is done, the doctors compare the part with the
photos taken before the surgery to compare the errors and to see if they
have been rectified. It is very important to take proper self care and
be stress free during these days to have an effective result of the
